Independant toys and games retailer open in early 2016 in Unit 5 after Sports Direct moved further up the shopping centre.

This is only Shoe Zone second home in the city.  Shoe Zone as a whole sells over 20 million pairs of shoes a year. In 2000 Shoe Zone acquired The Oliver Group plc who use to own and run the Olivers Shoes shop in Levetts Square.

Tough times for Mothercare,  owners of the ELC saw the closure of the shop in Lichfield. Shoe Zone moved to the spot after being unable to renegotiate renewal terms for their previous location.

Friary Shoes was original in the City Arcade famous for the window displays. They move to the shopping centre in 2017 when work was started on the City Arcade refubishment.

Ponden Mill a soft furnishings retailer took over the location after WH Smiths left to take up residence at the former John Menzies store.

The HUB was a chain of bargain household shops. The business was setup by David Dodd, a co-founder of discount store chain Poundland. The business collapsed and all store closed September 2011.
